Schumann was founded 10 years ago and initially developed electronics for energy-saving lighting systems, during which many energy-saving projects were undertaken for the retail sector.

Four years ago Schumann started to concentrate on the development and manufacture of customised LED systems for a large number of clients. Special systems were developed for display cases and, amongst other things, sorting systems for TNT.

Ultimately, this resulted in the design and manufacture of a special kitchen lighting range for the largest kitchen wholesaler in the Netherlands. Schumann products are characterised by fine design, excellent light output from the LED systems and very high quality.

Schumann LED Systems was recently established to also market these activities in other European countries.
